David’s career in the motor Industry started shortly after his 22nd birthday, when after successfully completing his qualifications in Business Management, he began working as a trainee estimator for a company in North Yorkshire. He joined his father’s company as an estimator in 2001. Over the years David has been very effective in adopting best practices with the estimators in the Karl Vella Group.

He was one of the first estimators in the country to achieve ATA accredited status with a first time pass. In recognition of his hard work and his ability to demonstrate effectiveness in the business, he was promoted to the role of Group Operations Director in June 2009, a position in which he now works closely alongside his father, maintaining existing relationships and developing new ones to take the business forward.
